You can pick your days off and the time you work in a lot of cases, it does of course depend on the kind of business you start, some may need certain hours of work to function effectively, but it is still your own decision at the end of the day. Working employed in a company however usually involves permanent hours and set shifts, though there is one bonus to this and that is when working for a company, you are allowed sick and holiday pay, whereas taking a day or two off in self employment comes out of your own wallet.

It wouldn’t really be practical to list them all, but some other things you ought to be considering when browsing for these New Careers are; self employed people have to get their own customers and clients, fail to do this and you aren’t going to earn any money and then of course there are the lesser things, like needing to pay your own taxes and national insurance or needing to acquire your own equipment to be able to do the job.
