Aiming For The Dream Of A New Career

Have you ever considered your options for Careers and really wished you were able to get into something you genuinely love? A lot of us have some Career Ideas of things that we can only dream of achieving, and it can be somewhat disappointing to then think back on what you’re currently doing and ask yourself if you can ever really enjoy it. Countless people will never genuinely enjoy their jobs, yearning to come across New Careers to try out, but a lot of these individuals will give up and live life with the glass half empty. We’re going to have a look at some of my dream Careers and find out why they don’t necessarily have to be just a dream.

At one stage in my life, I had dreamed of becoming a games developer, if possible on the graphics and animation side of things. At the time I had great A-Level results and would have secured a position on a university course, studying computer programming and learning design methods in 3D animation and rendering software. However, I declined these offers, as I was quite stubborn and said I detested maths. Now for those who don’t know, computer programming requires heavy mathematical work and I decided not to follow this path, a decision based just on the maths work alone. A stupid attitude I know, but the focus here is not about the terrible decision, but the fact that these choices never truly close off from you. It’s never too late to go to university, or even pick up college grades for that matter. If you change your mind, you can always pursue your Career Ideas by enrolling on a course somewhere.

The next and more recent dream I had for New Careers was to work as a manga artist. I love mangas and animes, I think the art style impressive and attractive and I wish I was skilled enough to do it myself. I have always been interested in drawing, but never been very talented at it, but why must that stop me from chasing after the goal? The opportunity is always there for me to practice my pencil and pen work and again, even enrol on a course to practice new techniques. Careers like these aren’t worried about qualifications, but off your own ability, so if I wanted to put the effort in, who’s to say I wouldn’t accomplish this goal in the future. Of course it would demand a lot of practice and a lot of time spent doing it, it could perhaps be years before I could make money from it, but again the important point here is the fact that’s achievable.

If there’s something you have to take away from this, it would be to consider that if you have an ambition and you are genuine about that goal, then why not aim for it? Chances are you can accomplish it if you put the effort in, and if it honestly is something you take pleasure in, then it surely will be worth the wait in the end. Not all Career Ideas require a natural talent, a talent can be something that you work for and accomplish over time.

Nowadays though more and more of us are single and living on our own . It puts a strain on the housing market, if nothing else so it’s time for prospective entrepreneurs to their bit to unite the sexes of our country in whatever way they can.
