How much of our personal time do we waste, deciding what we should be doing? How much more do we waste, waiting for someone else who has some influence over our personal time? If we counted up these hours, it would total a substantial time every week, for certain.
When we think about our working lives, would we waste this number of hours and still be able to do all our tasks? Most definitely not! Whether we Work From Home, in an office, a shop, a factory, wherever it is, we make sure that every hour counts for something. We often make lists of duties which need to be finished, then cross them out as we work through them, adding extra tasks to the list and re-prioritizing as necessary.
Everybody with an Internet Business wants to optimize their site to be certain that they get at least their fair share of Online Jobs and this is one of their key tasks. They may get in a team of consultants to help with this work and will know that it has been worthwhile if their Online Jobs improve.
Could we undertake something like this in our personal lives, therefore? Maybe if we have 30 minutes to wait before we are expected to meet family, we could spend that time emptying rubbish bins, putting on a load of washing, cleaning the bathroom. This way, that 30 minutes has been effectively optimized. We are not simply walking around the flat waiting for the time to come when we can leave, we have completed one of our many tasks.
Maybe we could compose a list of tasks which need undertaking on a regular basis, with target times for how long we think each one would take. Then, if we find ourselves with just a little time on our hands, we could review our list and cross out one or two tasks, therefore optimizing our personal time as efficiently as our working time.
Because the Internet Business has become more stable over the last few years, there are lots of areas where we could Work From Home, doing tasks which once would have necessitated us to visit different firms. Half an hour on the laptop and we could have our weekly grocery shopping finished and what is more delivered to our door for a reasonable cost, at a time which suits us. Searching for a CD for a young relative, where there is no knowledge of the band can become a much simpler task using online facilities. These and many other changes can help to optimize our personal lives.
Some people may think that going to such heights to optimize their personal time is unnecessary, and for some this may be correct. However, as an exercise, just to see what could occur over a week and how much more free and useable time we could create, it may be a worthwhile one. We can then decide whether it is something we would wish to do long term, or whether we would really rather just continue as we always have. Only we can know what will work for us and how we should best go about using our personal time.
